swings
Due to unforseen circumstances Beth worked from home today, so when the work day ended she was able to enjoy the beautiful fall day and take Allison to the playground for the first time. Ally seemed a bit surprised but excited by her time on the swings. In other news, she has cut her first two bottom teeth. Rob discovered the sharp nubs on her gums last night and today we confirmed that teeth are starting to come through; you can see little white ridges along her gums and they are sharp!

Yeah! Teeth! That's so cool. They definitely are sharp at first--make sure you practice the "smoosh the baby to the boobie" move to get her to release a whole bunch so that it is second nature when/if she tries out her new little choppers on you... trust me that it sounds worse than it is--mostly it just startles you and you just have to remember to fight your natural instinct to pull her off of you--that's what hurts! Hmmm, sounds like I may be speaking from personal experience, eh? Can you say, "Ryan?" So smoosh her little face into your boobie and she won't be able to breathe through her nose so she'll pop that little mouth right open!
Swings are fun too--I hope she'll be like Livvy and love swings--they're so relaxing for both of you.
